Out as a couple: LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian and their Golf.

Facts:
Even for 7 years together, love is just not enough to hold the marriage.
Having 2 Children + 8 years marriage, also not enough to safe a marriage.

I’m too lazy to recall back all the stories in the past so, why don’t you guys catch up on my previous post here Horrible Separation Reality between LeAnn Rimes, Dean Sheremet, Brandi Cibrian and Eddie Cibrian.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian take in a game of golf yesterday in Valencia, California. As we all know, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie have both separated from their spouses. This outing together only adds to the rumor that divorce is in their future. Check out LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian on their show “Northern Lights.” I wish LeAnn and Dean the best of luck. MM

PS: You guys should follow him at Twitter, Malibu is a nice friendly person (@MalibuMayor)

Yeap only time will tell,  when these two will show up again together. I have to agree with Malibu,  this outing together will just adds to rumor that divorce is in their future. But everyone have rights with their own glitch.

These photo above, was taken last Thursday, and this is the 1st time, both have stepped out publicly. These two one-time Lifetime movie costars recently separated from their respective spouses somewhere last month. It was to believe that until now, the pair only saw each other in secret, or maybe technically wireless such as using mobile phone and the use of web-cam at home!

In the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now), Glanville says her ex’s husband Eddie “displays of poor taste have hurt our two children,” Mason, 6, and Jake, 2.

“Eddie is a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker, and he has been an absentee father,” she says. “Eddie may just end up drowning himself in that ‘unfair fishbowl.”

Source: US Magazine

Once a liar always a liar? Once a cheater always a cheater? Its weird but I have no say on that. I like 2nd chances so.. I leave you guys on that alone.

I do sense that Brandi Glanville had a really hard time to keep Eddie and his family together. She did accuses LeAnn Rimes as a Stalker. In that time also, she must be in a state of in denial, just to save their marriage, just to protect her children not to have a parent who are divorced. Brandi Glanville was holding their marriage for a while not just for own sake but for her children. Eddie at 1st was proving innocent, but as his ex says, he is a compulsive liar.

Divorced is very hard in the early process, but it won’t be easy too in the long time run. This year Christmas won’t be the same as last year Christmas. For Dean Sheremet, he got his buddies sticking around him. Hey buddy! =) Which is good. But being no longer sleeping on bed with the one you love for the past 7 years, I’m sure the feeling of emptiness and loneliness do come and go in his moment. From his smile you can still see the sadness through his eyes. Oyeah he is in New York right now working..

They are celebrities, but also human. If we put their life in our shoes,  in their difficult time, and in their irony of sadness; the feeling is just equally the same, just like any person with a broken heart. Unfortunately as a celebrities, they are like windows for the globe to view and get judged on their life as our public avenue.

I’m sure Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes are in their fairy tales and I believe they’re enjoying the fun time together, but I have to say, they are actually missing a lot from where they should be.

“Be divorce with your wife, but don’t divorce your children.” That’s an ideal; but seriously man like Eddie Cibrian, he doesn’t deserve to be a dad.

As usual I like to end my post by praying for Dean Sheremet, Brandi Glanville and her kids. All the best and chin up as bright skies will always be around for you.

UK: Universities Still Welcome International But Barely For Local Applicants.

In an interview last month Anthony McClaran, chief executive of the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (Ucas):

“Yes, some universities may say we have vacancies on this course for overseas students but not for British or European Union students,” he said. “But it’s not that the overseas students are taking places away from British students. Universities have a cap imposed by the government on the number of British students they may take. If they exceed it, they suffer financial penalties. There is no such cap on overseas students. On one level I can understand that this situation is frustrating.”

Source: UK Times Online

UK education is one of the best market in Education Industries. Yes, one of the leading on this planet. It is frustrating to local (UK) scholar with eligible qualifications, yet unable to compete vacancies  to enroll to universities versus the international students academically fairly. If you see this from British student perspective, it is extremely disheartening.

This education industry is for the country rather than helping the local directly. The university itself is in a state of irony, who will taught more foreign students whom eventually will leave UK in the end and return to their homeland with their built up intellectuality and skills. And these are the scholars they choose against their local scholars.

This is not wrong to say that, this is what happens when you turn education into a business. The people who run universities start thinking like businessmen. True, but not really true and their fault. As I mention earlier, this education industry is for the country.. and for the country it is indirectly for the people too. Barely an ideal, but safe for the country economy progression.

The Ministry (government) have set a cap. Universities are concern about the penalties from the Government, but why is it so serious? Well it comes down to International Fees; yes Money. Average for International fees may cost around £10, 300 or more, than average local fees cost around £3, 200 and more. Can you see the differences? It’s a huge assets and a huge profit if you just plain see the figure (You don’t need to use a calculator). Talk about University upgrade, Talk about University maintainability,  Talk about building a new accommodation, Talk about the Tourism, how much foreign money coming to the country??  its all symbolize profits. and TAX! tell me about it!

A person spoke: “Given a cap on foreign student enrollment why are foreign EU countries applicants not classed as foreign. If this were done it would free up a few more places for domestic applicants who could perhaps be charged the same rate foreign ones are charged.”

A Respond Spoke: “I believe fees are now standardised between all EU states by law, so EU students pay the same as UK ones and can’t be ‘reclassified’ as overseas students.”

Now, put it like this, what will a university said if you offered to pay the same amount as a foreign student for your place. Would they take the local students?

As a foreign, it not them to blame.. Its like helping foreign to help British.. Its a win win situations. The only part which is in technically in a problem state is, there are not enough associate educators to teach the many of scholars, and not to forget the teaching and learning tools to accommodate everyone too.. Its just not enough for everyone.

That’s the reasons why these problem started. If Universities have all the necessaries resources on hands that could cater everyone,  then there won’t be any limits. It just put a fair ease to all applicants, both local and foreigners. So don’t mock and knock foreign students, they are not to be blame, they are friendly people like me, *winks*.

Government and Universities need to overcome this disheartening, hopefully in 5-10 years. World population are growing fast, not just population, but brilliant and smart population. More Universities, Educators, Teaching/Learning Tools and Labs may need to be at par to accommodates with the population demands.

So birth control anyone? haha I know you love me XO XO

Green Lantern Movie schedule release in 2011.

Howdy People, Green Lantern Movie is in the process. No, this is not just any comic cartoon movie to be release, but a human-action comic superhero dimension is scheduled to be release in 2011.

o1tds

Before this, there were several cast release to be considered who will play Hal Jordon a.k.a the first Green Lantern; and they are Sam Worthington, Bradley Cooper, Justin Timberlake, Henry Cavill, Jared Leto and Michael Fassbender. But eventually the role went to Ryan Reynolds. When the cast was revealed, I was praying for Bradley Cooper to get it. But Ryan Reynolds will do the job.

Chris Pine too did met and  discussed with the casting director about Hal Jordon part, but unfortunately luck wasn’t in his back at that time. It would be awesome, if Chris Pine is the next Green Guy. Yes technically, Chris Pine is my idol and the best-favorite actor in the showbiz since 2004, when he was cast in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, playing as Nicholas Devereaux. Yes he is an absolutely an idol to me, you know.. when you are a kid, you wish to become the handsome prince, pretty much like Romeo in Juliet.

Since then.. I watch all his movie, from exciting fun (Just my luck and Blind Date) then his missing in action in 2007, sadly with no movie release :(, then come to a not my cup of tea one, the Bottle Shock.. then by now to a very  best of him playing as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek. That Star Trek make me feel so GEEKY!

It safe to say I’m in love with Chris Pine as a fan.. A very certified one. LOL. So If I see Chris Pine in reality, I might probably be shouting and jumping like a crazy girl, and saying “I’m a Fan! I’m A FAN!..” Wait, probably not, it would be too awkward.. I just need his signature and a photo taken with him. His not an A-list star which I should be chasing them and idolize them like most human do, but, I’m sure and believe Chris Pine can get there soon too. HEY YOU at Hollywood Walk of Fame! Give him a STAR will YA! =)

Back to the Lantern guy, and speaking of 2011, SHooT! Star Trek 2 is also schedule to be release  around that time. So definitely I’ll be squeezing my penny to get to the cinema regularly and yes, I need to get the Star Trek 2 DVDs too for collection. Wait a second, by that time, I’m a professional already, I’ll be working! Just use the credit card to pay the cinema bills hahaha (This is what happen, when you own and learn to use Credit Card in the mid Teen, such a spoil kid).

And sadly about this post, we kinda have to wait for about 2 years before we could see Ryan Reynolds in that skinny Green Lantern Suit! Ok I admit, I like comic movie, Batman, Superman, Spiderman.. X-men… Just movie it, and I’ll watch it! So it would be a long run in the future.. so Actors and Actress, always have a good healthy routine and always be safe!

UK: Mad scramble for limited university places after record A-level year.

Sixth-formers received a record number of A-level passes this morning, but tens of thousands faced a mad scramble to find places in the most competitive year yet for the clearing system.

With more than half of all grades As or Bs, the pass rate rose for the 27th year running to 97.5 per cent. More than one in four exams was graded an A — up from 25.9 per cent last year to 26.7 per cent — a bigger rise than the previous year. Three-quarters got at least a grade C.

But the university admissions service also said that 135,114 students were eligible for clearing this year — for just 22,000 places. The same figures last year were 112,000 for 43,000 places.

That means they have either not met the grades required for their chosen institution, have chosen not to take up an existing offer, or were not holding an offer.

Professor Les Ebdon, vice-chancellor of the University of Bedfordshire and Chair of million+ which represents the universities with the most places in clearing, said: “It is unfortunate that the peak in the number of 18-year-olds in the system and the recession have collided to mean that demand for university places far outstrips supply.”

The University and Colleges Union said that the expected rush for limited clearing places marked the low point of the Government’s widening participation agenda to try and get 50 per cent of young people into university. The union blamed “the Government’s failure to match strong ambition to expand university access with the money to properly fund higher education.”

Sally Hunt, the general secretary of UCU, said: “The Government’s decision to cap the numbers of student places at university this year, and most likely permanently cap the ambition of thousands of potential students, marks the nadir of a policy which has become, in essence, the rationing of hope.

“The late addition of some extra places that are not funded or resourced is little more than a sticking tape policy that won’t help students or universities.”

The Prime Minister announced an extra 10,000 student places in science subjects to attempt to plug the gap but refused to provide funding for universities for the additional students.

Girls continue to outshine boys but the gap is narrowing.

Mike Cresswell, director general of AQA exam board, said that there was no evidence to suggest exams were getting easier.

He said: “The improvements differ between regions so naive dumbing-down arguments do not wash.”

There were improvements in maths and science and an increase in the number of candidates taking economics. Dr Creswell said that this could be attributed to “the dreaded word credit crunch”.

The pass rate of 97.5 per cent is 0.3 per cent higher than last year’s. Traditional subjects remained the most popular with the largest proportion of candidates taking English, maths and biology. There was a decline in entry in General Studies, computing and IT.

French and German continued a slow long-term drop in numbers but Spanish and less mainstream languages such as Chinese and Urdu grew in popularity.

Anthony McClaran, chief executive of UCAS, said: “For those people who haven’t secured a place, universities and colleges across the country are waiting for their calls. Clearing is very competitive but as is always the case those students who achieve the grades asked for under the terms of their offers will be guaranteed a place.

Asked about reports that 50,000 A-level students would miss out on a place at university, David Lammy, the Higher Education Minister, said that both he and UCAS did not recognise that figure.

“You simply can’t deduce that kind of number at this stage,” he said. Every year, one in five young people who applied to university did not go for various reasons, he added.

This year 52,000 more people applied but only 13,000 extra places were made available.

Mary Bousted, general secretary of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers, said: “It will be little short of a tragedy if all the hard work by this year’s students is unrewarded by a place in higher education or a job. It seems particularly cruel to raise expectations and then dash them by failing to provide enough places in higher education for UK students. The Government will need to do more to support those who don’t manage to get a university place this year.”

Diana Warwick, chief executive of Universities UK, which represents vice-chancellors, said: “Although it’s not new to see intense competition for places during clearing, we know things will be tighter over the coming days due to the large number of applicants for university places this year.”

She added: “Universities are experienced in handling high numbers of applications and they have been preparing for this peak time for many months now, along with UCAS. There will be a range of UCAS and university advisers available to help those applicants who have not gained a place initially.”

My symphony for this case is: CRAZY!!!!! Now that there are more local (UKs) eligible students, who are also holding good grades faces unfortunate for the limited placement for them to go for their higher education. Be reminded this is UK. To foreign students (especially the commonwealth countries) who are also applying for UK institutions to further their studies, “How will your fate be? Local first? Or YOU (International Scholars)”; to whom with guarantees to bring large sum of fees to their country and to their University. Something to think about..

Marriage Proposal Ends With Apology

Untitled 1

Maryland Del. Jon Cardin apologized Tuesday for using Baltimore police officers in a staged marriage proposal. Cardin proposed to his girlfriend on Aug. 7 aboard a boat in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, using marine and helicopter officers in a mock raid to fool his girlfriend into thinking she was getting arrested. He said he popped the question during the “fuss.”

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Aug. 19) — A Maryland lawmaker has apologized for using a police boat and helicopter to create a diversion so he could surprise his girlfriend with a marriage proposal.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Frederick Bealefeld told reporters Tuesday that Delegate Jon Cardin also offered to pay expenses from the incident.
The department is investigating. Officials don’t know yet how much Cardin’s proposal cost the department.

Cardin, a Democrat who represents Baltimore County, said on his Web site that he had marine police search the boat he and was girlfriend were on. He says he popped the question during the “fuss” Aug. 7 in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. According to The Washington Post, just as an officer looked as though he was about to handcuff Cardin’s girlfriend, he pulled out the ring.

The department’s helicopter also flew overhead.

Cardin says he asked his best friend to help plan the proposal.

Lawmaker Jon Cardin Uses Police Boat in Marriage Proposal

My Verdict: Sweet but a Blunder..
